SJ Johnson (she/her/sj) is a Peabody, multi-Emmy, Gracie, Webby, and Telly award-winning hybrid Director and Producer with an extensive record of success with leading global media outlets, brands, and large-scale events and music festivals.

With multi-platform production experience spanning studio shows, primetime specials, long and short-form video features, digital and social media content, live events, and podcasting, SJ skillfully balances visual storytelling, the technical execution to achieve a custom look, feel, and pace, and the focus on creating innovative content with compelling storylines.

Merging a "People Before Product(ion)" philosophy with an adaptive leadership style that leverages individual strengths and unique personalities, SJ communicates intentionally to empower her teams, crews, and clients to thrive and produce high-quality content, craft captivating narratives that resonate with audiences, and create engaging stories that convey a clear vision while delivering unmatched value and entertainment.
